Corrugated assemblies are useful in a variety of critical service and industrial applications, but sometimes an accessory is needed to meet all of the performance requirements.

Adding a stripwound liner or guard can help an assembly to last longer or perform better in the field. Guards act like a protective shell around the hose. They help to protect the hose from external damage, such as over-bending, abrasion, or any harsh chemicals/particulate that may be in the environment.

A liner creates a smoother surface inside the hose. It helps protect the hose from internal damage resulting from resonant vibration or an abrasive media.
