Flexiblity For The Extreme
When
the world's largest soft drink manufacturer complained of insufficient
flex hose life in a demanding application, our FDA market specialist
identified a cutting edge solution that continues to last.
During the mixing process, the hose needed to be both flexible
and sanitary. In between batches, the hose was subjected
to high temperatures and a caustic cleaning solution.
Before Bioflex, nothing would stand up to the conditions.
Temperature , Pressure and Flex-Life -
Due to its extremely strong construction, Bioflex has outstanding
resistance to temperature, pressure and flexing. In tests, a
1" Bioflex hose was still intact tested at 50 Bar for 100,000
cycles flexed to its minimum bend radius in 2 directions inside
an oven heated to 180°C, where a competitor's convoluted
hose failed after just 1,300 cycles...
